2010 Rush

The good folks over at Urban Velo have posted up some shots of a pre-production '10 Rush frame, and you can check out the post here!

It came to life as a sample to test the new spec and could be seen rolling around Vegas this year.

The pertinent details:

- Tange dropouts
- No bottle bosses
- Removable decals with updated graphics and headtube badge

We haven't fully locked down colors, but the pearl white will be staying for sure, and we are adding a rich olive green.

For forks, we will continue to offer our classic curved-blade forks in colors to match. The straight-blade will be available for sale separately in chrome only.

Look for these late winter (think February '10).

A couple favorite shots:

You mentioned removable decals a while back talking about the Buena Vista as well - has this always been the case with Soma Frames, or is this something you're transitioning to with the 2010 frames?

Have to say, I *love* that shade of blue! And a threaded fork? Just starting to look again for a new ride after years on a beater, and you guys are looking good.

So, Urbanvelo says the fork is straight blade, while somafab.blogspot.com says that the straight blade fork is only for sale separately. Which is it?

Can't wait to see 2010 Rush. I'm buying one!
If you have not locked down colors ...
I want one in pale blue, like Cinelli Azzurro Laser. That's the color I dream of. :)

Well, it all depends on who you believe ;)

Here is the plan:

- We will have our curved forks in threadless 1", in colors to match.
- We will continue to offer chrome and black curved forks in threaded and threadless options.
- If you want a straight-blade fork, then you can grab our chrome fork in threaded and threadless options.

As for removable decals: the Rush will have removable decals for '10, and the Buena Vista's will go under the clearcoat. The Rush will be the only bike with decals outside the clearcoat.

All that being said, we have done some serious graphic overhauls on the Rush, and we can't wait to unveil those.
